These are some ideas from my more recent coursework. I have studied several artists on pop art but chose specifically to look at the giant pop art sculptures of Claes Oldenberg and the classic pop art style of Roy Lichtenstein and tried to bring their styles together - making little objects in a bigger sculpture and adding a pop art style to some of them. To make these pieces my own, I wanted to make the object contrast with something - in this case toothpaste with maggots as, well, you wouldn't really like them to come out of your toothpaste tube!
