Toothpaste & Maggots Animation
Workshop Examples
The above work was made with crayons and graphite. They were made through a workshop which I was very enthusiastic to attend. The actual workshop was run by artist Naseem Darby and lasted for 8 hours. For above piece I was not allowed to look at my piece of paper while drawing for a certain amount of time. The below piece was made by weaving plastic bags and then ironing them so that the end result would resemble our drawings. After this workshop I am happy to say I learnt of new skills which I can now comfortably harness into my school pieces such as my coursework and exam. The pieces of work were made on long strips of A2 cartridge paper.

Y13 Art Final Exam - Research Pages
This research page is for my final exam work in Y13. I am looking at Helmets & Armour for my exam. So far I have looked at fictitious helmets and armour such as Darth Vader. I was very ambitious on this specific piece of research as the main objective for the above 3D piece was to manipulate the original helmet of Darth Vader into something totally brand new, thus changing its message and meaning. The above research page has been done on A3 cartridge paper and includes pen and acrylic paint.

This research page is for my final exam work in Y13. I am looking at Helmets & Armour for my exam. So far I have looked at fictitious helmets and armour such as Batman and the above version of Batman is a more dark fairytale version. The above research page has been done on A3 cartridge paper and includes pen and acrylic paint.

Y13 Art Coursework - Second Final Piece
This paining was a follow on from my previous black and white war scene. It was painted onto a very large sheet of orange roll paper (there wasn't a specific type of material to the paper) which measured around 3m from top to bottom to around 1.5m from one side to the other. I used black and white acrylics paints because they specifically brought out more depth and gave more tone in the painting.
Y13 Art Coursework - Second Final Piece
As a follow on to my Pop Art Gun Piece I made a black and white war background scene on Photoshop and included some of my own pictures. I wanted the gun in colour because it contrasted against what was happening in the scene.
